Help with Enquiry?

I've received the following enquiry. Can anyone help provide an answer please?

"I moved to Marple a few years ago from London. My friends would love to visit me in the summer. The husband has macular degeneration and would not enjoy sightseeing so I was wondering if you could give me a list of local day centres or churches that would offer him a safe haven and lunch for one or two days during their visit."

The "Congos" on Hibbert Lane, (United Reform Church I think it's called these days) do a day centre on Wednesdays and/or Fridays and I believe there's something on at The Grove (Methodist chapel) on Church Lane. Don't know who you'd contact but the ministers in charge should be able to help.

The safest haven is undoubtedly to enjoy a couple of pints in the Navigation and the let the worries of modern life fade away for an hour or two....

Anything at Marple Senior Citizens hall? I was there yesterday with Dave Myers doing a talk and I noticed loads of coming and going - looked really good.

Not sure who to contact though.

I'll drop the query out via our mail list on the Marple Bridge Association - Churches Together probably know???
