I work at home sometimes, and in Manchester sometimes - and same as you try to avoid commuting where I can. Would be interested in joining a group of like minded souls. Mail me when you know more.

Hi There,
As somebody who has recently decided that I would rather (amongst other reasons) not commute for 2 hours a day, I have decided to set-up a small business based at home. The plan is to work on computer software development, technical writing and related contracts.
Having worked from home by myself before I realise that one of the problems is having other people to interact with, bounce ideas off, to discuss technical and equipment issues, exchange ideas on accountants, solicitors, tax, etc. and generally stop yourself from talking to the walls!
I was wondering if there are any other people out there in the Marple or surrounding area in a similar situation who would like to get together for lunch, say once a week or fortnight, in a pub or cafe? Alternatively is there already such a group that I might be able to join? If so then either reply to this forum or contact me directly at:

Cheers,
Pete A.
