Hi, Bluezorro and myloweb, thanks very much for your suggestions, they are much appreciated. A good idea about asking Travis Perkins which I'll definitely do. We're aiming to get a few quotes on this work as it can vary greatly in price, so any further suggestions are very welcome!

Can anyone recommend someone who does a thorough re-point job on brickwork, ie with proper raking out of mortar, etc? I've had a quote from a good local roofing firm but it's very high and I'd like to get some alternative quotes if anyone can suggest a suitable company/person.
