Marplebury on Derby Way [14 September 2013]

Here's the image.

So Marplebury 2013 is part of Marple Festival (Food and Drink Day) on Market Street and Derby Way on 14th.

There is a little box that says Imagine FM Festival Fun Day Sunday 15 September at Ridge College Hibbert Lane.

And of course there is the Beer Festival at Marple Cricket Club on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

I will merge this thread with The Marple Festival thread.

Venue: Derby Way - is that right? As Howard says, it was at the college in 2011.

Hi all,

I spotted a poster at Riffs for a festival called 'Marplebury'.

Cant find any info via the usual Google route, does anyone have any info or can point me in the right direction??

Definitely check on the date. If I recall, this was an event attached to the 2011 Food Festival and was run at the college on Hibbert Lane. It showcased local musicians. I'm involved in the local music scene and I'm pretty sure I would have heard about it if it was running this year.

What date did the poster say it is on Isher?

I have a snippet from the organisers of Marple Festival that says this.........

"A new event for the Sunday is a day of entertainment on the College grounds run by Bob Worm of Events Collective (he has run Marplebury the last few years) in conjunction with Imagine FM."

So it would be Sunday 15 September if correct but I can't find anything about it on the Imagine FM site or Events Collective.

There's nothing on the Marple Festival site either 

No idea if this is the same event or not.........
