First photos from Marple's Festive Christmas Cracker weekend include Santa's Arrival on New Horizons on Friday, the Santa Dash yesterday and St Martin's Christmas Tree Festival over the whole weekend. Photos from Saturday's Cracker on Market Street will be added as soon as they're available and it would be great to have some from Winter Wonderland too, so please send yours in.

Hi everyone! Just to confirm that the classic bus WILL be running from Wyevale Garden Centre to Marple tomorrow [Sunday 8th] to transport running Santas back to Marple centre.

One or two runs will be made depending on numbers.

Anyone at all is welcome to have a ride, you don't have to be a runner!

If you haven't been up into Marple yet to visit 'The Christmas Cracker' I would certainly recommend it.

It's brilliant. Everyone is walking round with a smile on their face.

Well done Marple Business Forum.

And, once again, you've organised good weather.

Please gather at the club from 6.30pm ready to meet Santa where hot drinks and food will be available and drinks from the bar. There will be Hazel Grove Brass Band and carol singers along with sweets, lucky dips and much more for the children. Santa will arrive at 7pm.

Saturday 7th December 10am – 3pm

Look out for the exciting walkabouts in Marple, children’s entertainer Barrington Powell renowned for his fun filled magic antics and balloon modelling. Also Sean the juggler who specialises in diabolos, ball manipulation, balloon modelling and much more. Children look for the giant bubbles floating around Market Street by our bubble man!
