Some fantastic cash prizes (to charities / good causes) for taking part in Marple Carnival this year - both the Parade and Best Dressed Shop Window.

We will be at the entrance to Marple Co-op today (Saturday) from 10am selling raffle tickets. Your chance to win £250 plus lots of other fantastic prizes when the draw takes place on Carnival day - 21st June. You've got to be in it to win it!

We will also be selling tickets at tomorrow's Carnival car boot sale at Rose Hill Station.

All money raised from the raffle tickets and the fees from the car boot sale go into the pot to distribute back to local groups after the Carnival.

Come and say hi and ask us any questions about this year's event.

I'm the secretary of the Carnival and wanted to let you know that there are lots of ways that you can help out on the day that won't take up much of your time and still allow you to enjoy the carnival atmosphere. For example we need stewards on the parade route and people to help clear up after the event, please do drop me an email on marplecarnival@gmail.com if you are interested.
Don't forget the raffle tickets are now on sale, your chance to win £250!! Buy tickets at the monthly car boots sales or in Stationery Supplies and the Co-op petrol station. Plus of course we will be selling on Carnival day. Only £1 per ticket. If you are able to sell tickets for us then please let us know.
We look forward to putting on the best carnival to date on 21st June. We really do need all the support we can get as the committee is getting smaller and smaller in numbers.
