And although it's not an Italian, The Edge restaurant, just up from the cinema is very good

I agree the Conti in Disley is nice, but I've found it quite difficult to get a table.

Also, because it is great for kids there can be quite a lot of them.

La Romanticas good for a quick meal

If you have kids, I'd recommend "Conti" in Disley. The kids get their own area in the kitchen where they make their own pizzas - whcih are free with an adult meal.

The adults meals are really great - I'd recommend the Red MUllet.

I tend to agree Alan, although I think it is an individual choice to smoke, I hate it when eating a lovely meal to have it ruined by the person on the next table puffing away in my direction.........yuk. '<img'>  '<img'>  '<img'>

I am told that Alfresco's is fantastic although I have never been.

I will not go to Dolce Vita as they proudly display a notice in the window advising that smoking throughout is permitted.

Which is your favourite italian restaurant, I like Alfrescoes in Hazel grove, I dont like Dolce vita in Marple, Romanticas is ok, but would like to try somewhere different.
