Free Archaeology training with Revealing Oldknow's Legacy
Always wanted to have a go at archaeology but not sure where to start? Join us to learn practical archaeology skills, how to record finds, conservation, and how to best conduct background research. At the end of the course you can put your skills to the test by joining our community dig in Marple.
You can come to all sessions or you can choose sessions which interest you most. All sessions are led by staff from the Centre of Applied Archaeology at the University of Salford. In addition, all sessions can be counted toward the BAJR Skills Passport in Archaeology – a pathway which prepares you for a career in archaeology.  Whether you’re an absolute beginner, or have some experience and want to add to your skillset, this is a great opportunity to learn from experts and practice your skills. Best of all – every session is FREE.
You can book a place on any session via our Eventbrite page:
