Marple Food and Drink Festival is Saturday 22nd September! The 2018 Marple Food and Drink Festival will have a wide variety of stalls and plenty to keep the whole family entertained.
This year stallholders are showcasing even more delicious artisan products made in Marple and the local area, so it's a day out not to be missed.
The event gets under way at 10am on Saturday September 22 and will continue until about 4pm.
Last year the festival attracted large crowds from Marple itself and from other nearby towns and villages with visitors keen to sample Marple's unique festival atmosphere.
From small beginnings, the festival has grown year on year and is now highly regarded as an excellent opportunity for the town to shout about what its local producers and businesses have to offer.
As one of the most popular events in the town's calendar, Marple Food and Drink Festival will have stalls selling foodstuffs, drinks, crafts, gift ideas and much more. There will be music from Marple Band as well as a face painting and crafts for the children. Look out for the buskers performing in the afternoon organised by the Music in Hospitals charity, which will feature 10 buskers providing some great live music.
All the stalls will be located in and around the Market Street area of town with breads, cheeses, cakes and so much more on sale.
For an unmissable family day out at this end-of-summer festival, make sure you go along to the Marple Food and Drink Festival and try some great foods and drinks.
It's sure to be a great day out for all the family.
