VE Day 75th Anniversary Celebration Friday 8th May 2020

A 1940's themed family party to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of VE day . The event will take place on the 8th of May  between 12 and 6 pm at Compstall Cricket Club, Ernocroft Road, Marple Bridge, SK6 5DY.

It will be a ticket only event with all proceeds going to the community and the Cricket Club. There will be music from the John Cooper Band , a Rock Choir, Stockport Silver Band and 1940's classics from Samantha Jones. There will be food, drink, stalls, kids games, a display by the Marple Historic Society and much more.

Whilst food and drink will be available to purchase you are welcome to bring your own picnic, tables and chairs. There is no on site parking so we would encourage you to come by public transport. The nearest bus stops to the venue are outside and opposite the Northumberland Arms on Compstall Road with the venue accessed off Ernocroft Road.
