Producing power that is fed directly into the National Grid, the Hydro creates an income to maintain the scheme, pay a return to investors and contribute to our Environmental Challenge fund**.
Our knowledgeable volunteers will give tours of the site and discuss the complexities and quirks involved in such a venture.
Chadkirk Chapel is open too!Nearby our friends at the historic Grade II listed Chadkirk Chapel and Country Park are also open for the afternoon. Refreshments will be available, cash only.
