If you like your barber's to come with a dog, go and see Pete and Greg at In Style on Stockport Road. Greg takes his dog in with him all the time.

Perhaps it was the dog's health they were worried about?

it is all about animals and flee,s tick,s etc. its a work place. where scissors are steralised. and other things, if you was haveing your hair cut and the dog came over and piddled up your leg would you be happy.? read a health and safety booklet then you will no why the dog is not there anymore probably. I'm just a little curious on why the dog was a Health and Safety issue?

Food and/or drink (for sale) wasn't prepared on the premises so was it cutting hair?

Obviously that would be a problem as dogs have no opposable thumbs and wouldn't be able to hold the scissors correctly?  ':p' ''

where is it, and how much?

it is across from texico petrol station. it cost me £6. there are two white gates just through there. i went to that shop that you say with the dog in there. he made a right mess of my hair. and a dog in the shop, thats a  health and safety issue on its own '<img'>  '<img'>

I take my sons to the Barbers on Stockport road, a man called Ian cuts both my boys hair, and he is great (Its the barbers just after chus the chinese on the corner ), he used to have a lovely bull dog  in the shop that my children loved, but I think the dog was scaring some of the customers so he stays at home now!

He only loooked tough, but was a real softy, my children miss him!!
