Although the Midland is/was part of a chain I have to say that the staff in there are excellent. Very attentive and helpful. Lets hope that they are kept on and keep up their hight standards.

I dont mean to sound rude, but there are so many great restaurants in Marple it wouldn't be a great shame is the big chains were to leave! The Dolce Vita was packed the last time I went in and that was about 9.30pm on a thurs evening!

Hi it's certainly open as usual at the moment. Not sure when the refurb is due to take place but they are currently taking Christmas bookings.

I spoke to the restaurant manager and it's to continue business following a refurbishment [not sure of timescale] to give it more of a bistro feel.
Speaking of which has anyone visited the Dolce Vita recently?
