We visited The Blue Nile today.

I will admit I was a bit suspect of Hagars post (I  wondered whether Hagar worked there!'<img'>

But, we had a fantastic meal, and the service was first class.  The restaraunt was jam packed at six o clock ( New years day get togethers perhaphs?)

The food was delicious, tasted fresh, and was well served.

Portions are generous!  We ordered three rice for four people, it was too much.  My son ordered a half portion of a curry dish, and that also was almost the size of a regular meal I have had elsewhere.

A nice touch was a complimentary liqour for the adults , and a tropical type juice drink  served for the children with chocolates at the end of  your meal.  It reminded me of when I was abroad on my holidays .

I will definately go back.

Sorry resteraunters of Marple but you are all lagging behind in quality and service compared to a little gem in Hazel Grove called The Blue Nile.
The Blue Nile opposite The Rising Sun in Hazel Grove is by far the best Indian restaraunt in the whole region. The food is superb and the service is second to none. I highly recommend it. We have been about 5 times on different days of the week and it has always been A1.
So come on Marple restaruanters take a visit and learn something from the guys in The Blue Nile.
