it doesn't appear to have closed for more than a couple of weeks, Mrs NBT and I have popped in for the odd pint when passing but have never eaten. We called in one thursday and found they have a quiz, but twhen we left at a time approaching 10pm  they were only just handing out the answer papers!

nice beer though  ;D ;D

I noticed a van around Marple Bridge signwritten with the Little Mill in the last week. On searching online found that it appears to have re-opened http://www.thelittlemill.co.uk/home.htm

Anyone been for a recce yet?

As I understand it the reopening may only be temporary, pending the outcome of the sale.   '<img'>

Reliable sources (as they say) tell me that the closure was caused by High Peak environmental health inspectors.   However, the problems were minor and have now been resolved - hence the re-opening.

The Little Mill is in fact open again. It is still up for sale and is currently being run by the Chef and a manager. There was food available.

It will be fascinating to see what happens when it changes hands?  Will it end up as a private house?  That would be a sad day.    '<img'>

Edward Mellor, estate agents, have the Little Mill up for auction, price range £750,000 to £800,000, sounds a good buy if it goes for that price

It's a unique pub - it would be great shame if it closed  '<img'>

Yes - it had a sign on the door saying "Closed due to harassment from High Peak Borough Council". Shame - they seem to have improved it a lot outside.

Anyone know what it's all about?

I believe the Little Mill at Rowarth has shut down. It was shut the other day.
