The Reading Room is run by a volunteer committee and provides a meeting place for clubs and societies of the local community. The Reading Room is available for either regular or casual hire. It has one large hall with kitchen facilities. The hall is accessible by wheelchair users.
The hall is also booked at weekends on a frequent basis for children's and family parties (sorry- no teenage parties) For further details of hire please visit

Regular users who have signed a rental agreement pay £20 per session.
