Twinkletoes, are you being funny when you say you are shy ??

I think that you are quite open when it comes to giving your opinion on something , positive or negative .

I think the problem on a forum when you type opinions, its often difficult to understand they way in which something is meant, the tone of which it is meant etc  that you would understand if you had actually heard it from someone .

So, for that reason, I would suggest that the comments about your spelling go right over your head ,  I cant add up to save my life , but I have other qualities  .. take my good looks and fine wit  for example !   ( I'm being sarcastic  of course ) .

Dyslexia obviously has a negative impact on your self esteem , and you have taken comments to heart , no one has posted to make fun of you,  or to bully you , or even to be nasty to you  and if you feel that way, then maybe you are right in leaving, this obviously isn't the place for you if you cannot take the negative comments that we have so often seen you dish out to people in a different way . ....

Now, where is Miss Marple ?, its been at least 48 hours since she " bullied " me !  ( IM JOKING ! )

I don't think people have been rude to you or bullied you, they have simply criticised your spelling. You can ignore that or react to as you have, that's up to you. You may be dyslexic (I am too) but that doesn't stop you using the spell checker - in fact all the more reason to do so.

Please don't change your display name to something like that again or you will be barred.

In my opinion, people who say things like "thinking of leaving" are merely attention-seeking drama queens. If you really wanted to leave then you could have done so, or just not posted for a while. By saying you're leaving you're just hoping people will beg you to stay.

You hardly seem "a shy person and not very confidant" in your replies and posts in, for example, the "Romper" thread, the "Crime and Disturbance" thread where you told everyone how boring Marple is and the "Helping Marple Community" where you also criticised other peoples' ideas.

You're free to leave of course, but I'm not entirely sure that you'll be missed.

Well said #######, i dont think that it is right to take the mickey out of people at all. It really upsets me when people pick up on other peoples spelling, i think that they should get a life and think how they are upsetting and BULLYING others.

I'm mildly surprised about Twinkletoes comments considering some of the comments she has written in the past some of which have been removed as unsubstantiated rubbish. As she says this forum is not a place for spite or nastiness but that applies to giving it as well as receiving it!

I just feel very angry at people who use this fourm as a place where the can be nasty to other people. Yes if something bad has happend then we deserve to know, but bullying and saying how rubbish somthing is when people have spent a fortune in trying to make somthing nice is nasty and spitful. Those people should really grow up and Mark should take responsablity in saying enough is enough! I'm starting to argree with wolfman.

Some of the conversations in this forum has upset me alot, and I see it as bullying
For example Oful Spellin forum is out of order! this individual has picked out my posts and decided to take the P**** out of my spelling. I spell what I think is the right way and when I spell check it I pick what I think is right, It one of the down sides of having DISLEXIA! I'm already a shy person and not very confidant and this person has decided to have a good laugh about it
