I was not aware that the roof was missing so thank you for that information.  Your post read as if the band was playing in the club house did I misunderstand or is the club house a separate building.  Be nice to me I am of  a nervous disposition  :'(

There's a "last night of the proms" concert by Hawk Green Band on Sunday 27th @ 3pm - 6pm at the club. Funds go towards the rebuilding of the clubhouse
Where is the band playing ? is it safe inside the club or have the got a marque ?

How can it be safe if its got no roof . ..

No idea!

But if you want somewhere to hold a party try the Armed Forces Social Club, I held my wedding reception there and evrybody really enjoyed everything from Dave the DJ to the surrounding area (lots of people from outside Marple) and the cleanliness of the place. Also it is free!
