I agree about avoiding big national tyre dealers.  I go to Top Ten Tyres in Hazel Grove  - just round the corner from Sainsburys.  It's scruffy but the guys there are friendly and efficient and the price is always right.

I went there for a couple of new tyres last week, and I took with me a wheel off our other car which needed a puncture repairing.  While one lad fitted the new tyres, another repaired the puncture.  When the time came to pay the boss wrote out the bill for the new tyres and I said 'what about the puncture repair'?  He said 'oh it's OK, we'll just throw that in'. That's good service.    :)

If you need a new tyre/s you could do worse than give Hazel Grove Tyres a call on 456 3135. I called them on the offchance and they were the best priced of the 6 or so suppliers I phoned for a like for like premium tyre. NB. I don't believe in price match promises - if a company doesn't give you their best price first time, they're trying to rip you off first time. One of the Nationals started out at TWICE the price of this Independent but then immediately offered to match it. No thank you!

Anyway, back to Hazel Grove Tyres. Good service, nice lads who took their time (in a good sense - removing run flat tyres isn't the easiest of tasks), clean premises (although no waiting room) as well as that good price.

I'll go back again!
