Are the winning photographs available to view online? It would be nice to be able to see all the entries in fact

First and second place photos have been on-line for some time but I will be updating so that it's clearer which ones they are (hopefully tomorrow evening) and adding the third place image. You can actually see David's winning photo and Gavin's third place one in the photos of them receiving their prizes but Svetlana's photo is partly obscured in hers. I also have some more photos from Arthur taken on Saturday but it's been such a nice day today that I've spent it outside - might be the last chance for a while! If the other entries can be made available then I will be pleased to add them all too - is that possible please Arthur?

I believe that's Sangria in picture 2, not Rum & Coke!

Just to finish things off, here's a video shot by Arthur during the Festival Ball at the Cricket Club on Saturday night. Not sure how long it will stay on utube as Macca might not be too happy. So check it out while you can:

Some great shots of Marple Band at the Food and Drink Day taken by David Burridge have been added to the Festival album this evening, along with the grand finale of "Maria's" descent of Marple Locks and departure taken by Arthur. Well done everyone involved in the Marple Festival!

I thought the festival food market was fantastic. However I did feel a bit sorry for those youngsters who had not got enough spends to buy a burger or a hot dog-  very nice but very expensive

Arthur's photos from the Food and Drink Day are now uploaded, same link as below. Just the Festival Ball to go and then the departure of "Maria" tomorrow, due to Sue Day staying to enjoy the festival.

If you took photos during the festival, particularly if you covered events that Arthur didn't manage to get to, or if you just have some interesting shots to share, then please do get in touch.

Don't forget too, that you now have a week to get your entries to the Festival Photo Competition, which Arthur will be judging. The closing date will be 2nd October.

Steady on Amazon (it's not file 3 any more btw)

Arthur continued his magnificent performance last night and manage to take in Marple Hall School Swing Band, Glass Mystery's Modern Jazz and Comedy Night at Marple Cricket Club. He's due for a well-earned rest from tomorrow but we're all looking forward to his photos from today on Market Street and tonight's Festival Ball finale.
