we live up near the ringers. It was hearing the music that prompted us to wander down.

Well, we went for a wander down despite the rain and caught Lemon Soul and The Harks, both of whoe we enjoyed very much. I detest people who think the world should be run for them and that anything they don't enjoy shouldn't be allowed - it smacks of small mindedness and prejudice. Back to the topic, it's a shame more people didn;t turn out, it was worth the effort.

The noise could be heard at compstall . and do you live near the park .

When we took our dogs to walk in Marple Park we had no idea what was going on.  The noise was horrendous.  The audience was sparce.  Why should we have to suffer such a noise?  The time was wrong on the brochure. Marple is a quiet place.  That is its charm.  What right do you have to inflict this awful noise on its inhabitents?

Who clears up? Probably the Parks and Recreation Team, possibly with help from the Friends of the Park, similar to a Carnival Day etc.

Why Marple? It's part of the Marple Festival.
