"Pages Ago" Poetry Workshop with Jo Bell at Marple Library, 7.00pm
Jo is a previous Cheshire Poet Laureate. Fresh from her recent performance at O2 for the Brit Writers' Awards, award-winning poet Jo Bell was this year's Glastonbury Festival website Poet in Residence and has appeared at the Buxton Fringe Festival and Kendal Calling Festival. She is one of four new playwrights showcased by Four for the Port, and is the Director of National Poetry Day in the UK. History and architecture feature in her poems.
