How are we all finding the new bin service .

I think the new bins are great. but driving through hazel grove this morning I lost count of how many driveways had the black bin and 2 sacks outside.

What did you do before Monday - have no food waste?
At least Stockport are heading in the right direction.
There's bound to be the odd problem, and this is a Supplier one that the Council have no control over.
Other option - get a dog or two...... we have very little 'food' waste..

 And Make more mess .

Our little green bag for the caddy has arrived and we are now using it.  What puzzles me is what is going to happen to the bags of food waste after they have been collected with the rest of the garden rubbish in the big green wheelie bin.  The waste in the 'caddy bag' includes meat, cooked food, leftovers etc, which is not normally regarded as compostable.  So what are they going to do with it?

Give it a little time - I am sure we shall all get used to it very quickly.  Mind you, we are lucky as we can store the various bins fairly easily.

Are you having problems with the new service it would seam most of stockport is . no bags no caddy's .
the latest Ive been told from stockport mbc .when i got through is if you have no green bags put your food in the black bin if you ha vent a green garden bin .so much for recycling .
