Some reason I can't post on the old thread:
It's irrelvevant where you hail from as far as I'm concerned moorendman...and less so whether you believe me or not. I simply took a punt that, after commenting on your statement about 'supposed deprevation', I'd get the 'I was born and bred there so don't you dare disagree with me' line. Don't worry about it, nowadays it seems to be an often used tactic to use a childhood experience in order to gain a little credibility.
Interesting comments about the poorer in our society. I would suggest they dont need you (or me, but I'm not) telling them it doesn't really matter what political party in in power. I would imagine it matters a great deal. Re. who the cuts will hit, let's take university fees. Whose chances of social mobility do you think will be hit hardest with the introduction of £9k fees...young people from Moston, or YP from Marple.?
As for this afternoon, I may see you in the golf club, not
So why you asked the question is beyond me.
Labour got in, the student fees would have still gone up, it was Labour who appointed Browne. It was Labour’s review and it you think Labour would not have followed the advice of their own review and appointment you prove that at least you can fool some of the people all of the time. £9k fees will be for Oxbridgers and for Oxbidgers, it will be ht ebest £27k they ever invest. It’s also not going to effect low earners, you clearly haven’t read and understood the student fees proposals, you are in good company because the protesters clearly didn’t understand the facts either.
I’m off to join the protest against Leese’s cuts in Manchester and to educate the socialists. I may see you Steptoe!
It makes no difference at all. If
