I'm also registered with Marple Cottage Surgery, and have probably seen all or most of the doctors there.

I think I can guess which one you have had a problem with, some people can be rather 'blunt', but I can assure you that this doctor is very good when really needed. I am speaking from experience here.

Not all GPs are right for everyone! I've been using Marple Cottage Surgery for all my adult life and I know of a certain GP that some people like to avoid. (Other people really like him/her). I would rather not name that GP, but I suggest you stay with the Surgery and see one of the other GPs next time.

I also suggest you contact Johan Taylor if you have had "a terrible experience"

Hi all, I'm new to the area and have recently registered at Marple Cottage Surgery. Had a terrible experience with one of the GPs and would avoid seeing him again at all costs!  Could any one recommend a good GP in the area?  Thanks
