What is that smell!

I hate coming on here after last time, but Ive got to ask
WHAT THE FLIPPING NORA IS THAT AWFUL STINK! in Hawk Green it smells like poo! is the a leak somewhere?        It stinks, smells like rotten eggs!

On Monday morning it was so bad on Buxton Lane that it was getting into the house with all the doors and windows closed - until I went outside I thought it was a problem with my drains! Later on when I went to visit a friend near Marple Hall it was there as well. We wondered if it was the sewage works.

The "Romiley Reek" is the paper tube factory down Oakwood Road.  I grew up in Romiley and it has never been as bad as it has been the last couple of weeks.

It is the sewerage plant down there.

Otterspool is bad in the morning I think it comes from the Goyt.  Ray.

Romiley has also recently experienced the "Romiley Reek" which has been reported to Stockport MBC. Apparently they are investigating. Perhaps this is the same thing.
