Well done on the song lyrics, but there is absolutely zero evidence that a supermarket on Hibbert Lane would sound the death knell of the town centre in favour of more big chains.

In fact when you look at the likes of Glossop, Whaley, Buxton etc you could come the conclusion that the opposite outcome would come about.

Despite the fact that I don't believe a word of it, I must admit Carl's rewrite of Billy Bragg is absolutely brilliant!

Mum of two that's not nice and not really acceptable, because the lyrics Carl has put together are for MIA and supporters of the NO campaign who will agree I am sure that the words are very meaningful if CAMSFC continue with their proposals.  I have asked for this to be put on the site and Carl has agreed so please show some respect to someone who is assisting and supporting the NO campaign.

i applauded carl for taking the time to do write it....but mac d's and kfc? I dont think so. I know hes only putting a view of what he 'thinks' will happen......but i just dont think marple will suffer as badly as you all think

That's your view that Marple will not suffer and Carl has an alternative view in which he feels it will !

Carl was impressed to learn that I went to school with Billy Bragg and I'm mentioned in his biography. I've asked him (Carl) to see if he can record it for posting to Youtube and look forward to hearing how it sounds.

A local resident has sent us new lyrics to the tune of Billy Brags Between the Wars.  I think the new lyrics are fantastic and gives a concerning picture of what Marple maybe come if CAMSFC continues with their ridiculas proposals.  
As I have mentioned before I am IT illiterate and could possibly now cut and paste but could not take out personal details off the email as I have become very lazy using an iPad     Can someone help ?
