Early indications are that this could cost Stockport several millions (7gbp) being the cost of removal and replanting new trees.

Reading the excellent minutes of the park meeting .you do mention the ash disease now that most of the trees are a sleep .how will we know if the ash trees have the disease .will we have to wait for spring .or will the councill know its In the area and act accordingly .
Not sure but it sounded on the radio report that if the tree wasn't actually dead it would have to be chopped down before the evidence of infection could be seen.
