Fines issues on private land at not enforceable anyway - just don't pay it unless they take you to court and you lose.
they are if you have permission from the landowner .

I hope you are right, Amazon.  I don't often take the car there, but it is getting dangerous to walk through at times with people hunting for spaces.  And a lot of people doshop there - so it can't be doing the trading situation much good.
i am only telling you what I've been told .

Why are they anti-social?

I should have thought it was pretty obvious, even to you, Duke.  ::)   The Co-op car park is provided by the Co-op for people shopping at the Co-op.  That's why it's called the Co-op car park.  Since the ticket machines stopped working, some people, such as (to name names) the owner of Snobby Dogs Poodle Parlour, leave their cars there all day  This sometimes means that people doing their shopping can't park there.  So they have to park somewhere else, and that means struggling with their trolleys or bags to wherever they have had to park, and then taking the trolley back.

It can't come too soon - parking in the Co-op is now a real problem at times because of those anti-social folk who leave cars there all day.   >:(

Why are they anti-social? maybe they are visiting friends and organising social get-togethers on the park. Compared to non-communicating suprmarket shoppers thy are very social.

The answer is to make all car-parks free to use. I must admit, I never pay anyway

Speaking to one of the managers at the coop today I just happend to mention the car park was busy he did say what people are now doing now there are no pay and display meters is parking some all day rather than go to Chadwick street .so they are bringing in .the number plate recognition system like they have ar some Alldis and BandQ were your car no it's taken you are allowed so long retaken when you leave if you go over your fined
Normally you have two hours but I suppose it can be reduced .
