No, they shot past me at the Royal Oak & the sirens went into the distance so at the v least were going someway further up

Spotted half a dozen police cars/vans whizzing through Marple Bridge Monday lunchtime going full pelt and sirens wailing. Anyone know what the heck was going on to cause such a kerfuffle ?
