Ring o' Bells Quiz Nights for FoMMP [15, 22, 29 Jan & 5 Feb 2015]

A better turnout last night raised another £54.50 for the Skatepark Project, taking the total over 4 weeks to a very welcome £173.50.

This means that the Ring o' Bells Quiz nights have now contributed £1,320.50 toward the Skatepark Project, which is truly excellent.

A very big thank you once again to Mark and Anita at The Ring o' Bells!

Last Thursday's quiz night at the Ring O Bells was quiet due to the snow but still raised another £30.50, taking the total for Friends of the Park to £119 over three weeks.

If you can make it to the final one of the current series tonight and help us get the total past £150 that would be great!

Last Thursday's quiz night at the Ring o' Bells for Friends of Marple Memorial Park was fairly quiet but a reasonable £34 was still raised for the Skatepark and someone won £50 on the open-the-box.

It would be great to have more teams supporting the Park tonight: can you bring a team?

The Ring o' Bells Quiz Nights for the next 4 weeks will raise funds for Friends of Marple Memorial Park.

That's: Thursdays 15, 22 & 29 January and 5 February 2015.

Quizzes start at 9pm (starts to fill up from 8.30pm) and entry fee is £1 per person, which goes to the charity or cause.

Prizes are 8 Free Drinks for the winners (to be consumed on the night or following week) and a variety of bottled drinks for runners up.

There is also an "Open the Box" raffle draw with 50% of the takings going to the charity or cause and 50% to the prizes. There are 12 boxes, several containing £50 prizes!

The Quiz is good fun and supports great local causes so please come along and support The Ring o' Bells and Friends of Marple Memorial Park.
