I was honoured to be asked to pull the cord on Saturday morning to unveil the restored Mellor Mill painting by Joseph Parry that was purchased by Mellor Archaeological Trust in 2013.
I was also very pleased to have played a key part in bringing the painting back to Marple and Mellor after helping the previous owner identify what the painting was after he found The Marple Website whilst searching for more information about it.
