Well, the previous Govt said that anyone caught in possession of a knife would have a nminimum 5 year sentence.........

and 'hacked' back police numbers so there is no chance they will ever be caught!

I've been told that the shopkeeper in Martin's Newsagent was stabbed early this morning in a similar incident.

No other details at the moment but I hope that he's not seriously hurt and the culprit(s) are caught and dealt with quickly.

Any information, obviously get in touch with GMP on 101.

Given the threat of knife violence this shopkeeper on Buxton Lane probably deserves a mention:

Well done to the shopkeeper for standing up to them, but it would be better to get the perpetrators off the streets.
