Update - police present throughout the weekend, and the place is still surrounded by a very heavy police presence today.

Still loads of police vehicles when I walked past about 5 o'clock today.  Must be pretty serious - not just a farmer who's forgotten to renew his gun licence!

I ride my mountain bike past that farm many times a month.

It occurred to me that it was a very strange place to run a garage/mot business, as the road down to it isn't really car friendly. You would end up with massive repair bills.

The telly news reported the farm as being 'remote', which made me chuckle. It's only a short distance from my house when I'm on the bike.
