#GiveMe5 for Marple Skatepark! [Thursday 16 June 2016]

For those of you interested in the final outcome of #GiveMe5 for the Skatepark yesterday, here are the results:

63 donations were made totalling £425 + £73.75 Gift-Aid = £498.75.

58 of the donations were eligible for #GiveMe5 (some were early, late or not £5) and of those 11 were matched by Local Giving = £55.

So the total amount raised was £553.75, less fees, which won't be clear until all donations are processed and paid but I estimate will be around £15 to £20.

The final sum will be worth double thanks to the council match-funding, so around £1,070 against the total project budget of £100,000.

Thank you everyone who supported us and has helped us break through the £10K to go barrier (approximately £9,760 left to go I think).

So far today we've had 28 backers on our Appeal page and 10 on the Skate Jam page, donating a total of £338.75 including Gift Aid towards the project. This means that once payments come through we'll have broken through the £10,000 to go barrier.

Start date & time: Thursday 16th June at 00:00:00

End date & time: Thursday 16th June at 23:59:59

Conditions of entry: Each £5 donation made to a participating charity through Localgiving between the promotion start and end times will be placed into a draw to be doubled by an extra £5 of match funding. Donations of other amounts will not be included in the draw. The promotion only applies to one-time donations.

Number of donations matched: 1,000 x £5 donations will be matched as part of this promotion.

Council match-funding: ALL MONEY donated and any #GiveMe5 matches will also be matched by our £ for £ match-funding agreement with Stockport Council.

Charity & supporter limits: Donors may make as many £5 donations during the promotion as they wish and there is no limit to the amount of match funding any single group may receive.

#GiveMe5 - June 16th 2016

Friends of Marple Memorial Park are taking part in Localgiving's #GiveMe5 campaign.

On Thursday 16th June 2016 Localgiving will be matching 1000 x £5 donations to mark this year’s Small Charity Week.

The campaign is open for 24 hours on Thursday 16th.
All £5 donations have the same chance of being matched.
At the end of the 24 hours, 1,000 donations will be randomly selected to benefit from an additional £5 of match funding.
Successful donors will be notified within 3 working days.
