On 25th September a 15yr old male was approached on Hibbert Lane, Marple by a white male in his 50s with white/grey hair and offered a lift. The male was driving a Ford Mondeo. The young boy refused however the male was very insistent. The young boy then ran to his home address. Please make your children aware of the dangers of accepting lifts from strangers. Any information on the male or vehicle in question can be passed to GMP via 101.
