I would suggest that it is an obvious drains problem.

It is almost certainly being caused by the lack of resources needed to maintain a Victorian drainage system in 2017. These resources like all others resources have been greatly depleted by central government. Let us hope that it only manifests itself in a temporary bad smell. Things could get a lot worse.

It's coming from Dooley Lane, it was dreadful when we drove past this morning. It must be the sewage works down there.
