0925 and the empty cistern is filling at Woodville Drive. The water coming from the taps seems to be clear.

Thank you to Admin for that update and link to the United Utilities. I have just about enough water for a drink, water from the water butt to flush the toilet but I shall have to wash and shave later.

House full of grandkids, toilet cisterns filled from water butts: we can survive until lunchtime now  :)

Mrs Admin's just having a wash with rainwater  :-\

Rose Hill School is closed because of it, so that's going to cause grief for lots of people too!

The water is off this morning on Woodville Drive. Not sure how widespread the problem as it just says SK6 on UU's site:

We did have a letter saying that they were going to be doing some work but I didn't think it said the water would be off first thing in the morning. Unfortunately we can't find it.
