How about that! Isn't the Marple Community great?

If it would help you @Claire Vibert I would be happy to set up an email forwarding address that you could use for this purpose too. Say redboxproject@marple-uk.com. This would forward mail to one or more individual email addresses of your choice without revealing them publicly. This is just like set-up for the Marple Poppy Appeal Team.

Hello,
I'd be happy to be a drop off point at Stationery Supplies, if you need one?

As we've had such a lot of generous donations via the cafe, directly  to me and at one-off events such as the street stall, I haven't needed to look for another collection point! I may well do in the future though.

Is that Wednesday and Saturday or Weds to Saturday Claire?

We have details of the Seed Cafe on the main site. Are these still correct?

https://www.marple.website/community/709-marple-methodist-church.html

Wouldn't it be good if one of the local shops open every day was to take on being a collection point!

Hello, yes the details you have are right. I thought it was Weds to Sat but it's Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday (sorry I posted without double checking!).

Thanks

@Claire Vibert is there a location in Marple where regular donations to the Red Box Project can be dropped off?

My wife would like to donate some tampons she has purchased today.

Hi Mark - thanks for this. Yes, donations can be dropped off at the Seed Cafe at the Methodist Church on Church Lane Wednesday - Saturday 10am-1pm.

If that's not convenient, please email me (you can use the marplelabour@gmail.com address - I'd rather not put my personal email address on here!) and I can arrange to collect them from you, as I run the project here in Marple.

I really appreciate your support!

Claire

On 9 February your local Labour team will be holding a street stall on Market Street from 10am. Come along and meet us (I’ll be there as your candidate for Marple North in May’s local elections). We’ll be raising awareness of the impact of funding cuts on our local schools, and we’ll also be holding a collection for the Red Box Project. The Red Box Project ensures no girl misses school because of period poverty, so we’d be grateful for donations of sanitary towels, tampons or girls’ knickers.

Thank you.

Claire Vibert.
