Please be advised that the Marple Bridge Association has applied to Stockport M.B.C. for permission to close Town Street, Marple Bridge, for their Annual Marple Bridge Summer Street Party on 26th May, 2019.
The road will be closed from 11.00 hrs. to 18.00 hrs. All vehicular traffic will be diverted around the closure via Hogarth Road, Constable Drive and Hollins Lane. Businesses in Mill Brow, Mellor and New Mills will be open as usual and will be fully accessible.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times with stewards in place along Town Street to assist the public and emergency services if needed.
