Friends of Marple Memorial Park are looking for "Little Growers" to come and plant seeds for their Park!Last year's first ever "Little Growers" was very popular so we're going to do it again.Children can plant a seed in a pot, take it home, nurture it, and then re-plant it in the park in a location of your choice when it has grown large enough.
Friends of the Park will provide compost and a biodegradable pot for you to plant your seed and then take it home.
We will be in the Park on the following days between 10.30am to 12 noon to do this with you:
Saturday 30 March, Saturday 13 April and Saturday 27 April 2019.You can come back and re-plant it on any of our Task Days later in the year on the last Saturday of each month between 10.30am to 12 noon.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult!Here are some photos from last year's Little Grower days:
