Congratulations Aron and Becky.

Thank you to everyone who voted Green. It was a brilliant night for us across Stockport, with our best ever local election results.

Well done to the other candidates that weren't elected this time, but have worked so hard on their campaigns and done such a lot of good things for the community over the past year.  I was very pleased to see lots of Green things in most candidates campaigns!  I'm always eager to work with anyone with shared values, so please do get in touch to discuss ways in which we can work together to bring about positive changes for our community.

46% turnout? Why can over half of Marple not be bothered to vote?
Because they probably believe that whoever gets in, nothing significant will change so there's no real point.
politics=rhetoric (usually)

watch what we do and not what we say

Hello. Well done to the successful candidates.

Thank you to everyone who supported my campaign. I’m pleased we held our vote up on a difficult night for Labour overall. I’ll continue to work to improve our community, focus on the issues that matter to people, and stand up for the vulnerable. It’s been a mostly positive experience and we’ll aim to build for the future!

Any guesses what the turnout will be for the European elections on the 23rd?

Very clear results on a very high turnout.

Congratulations to Aron and Becky.

Commiserations to the other candidates who didn't win but who put the effort in and tried.

Same time next year then?
