Are you still going on about this its a unadopted road .
If it’s unadopted, why are the council spending our money on resurfacing it?

I can see the future.  And the future consists of this being pointed out again and again for years to come.

The Marple Bridge entrance does need resurfacing, but in reality this only benefits car drivers, There is no suggestion of improving the path from the car park to the pedestrian refuge on Station Road while they are in the area, and still no suggestion of surfacing the entrance and path through the park from the Compstall end so that people can cycle or walk from Compstall to Marple Station etc., or visitors to the area to be able to cycle or walk through Brabyns Park to Etherow Country Park.

Brabyns Brow Access Road to Park – Carriageway Resurfacing Works

Stockport Council is undertaking a programme of repairs across the borough as part of our ‘Investing in Stockport’ initiative. One of the key themes of the programme is investing in Stockport’s economic growth and regeneration to create more opportunities for local residents. As part of the programme, Stockport Council will be carrying out carriageway resurfacing works on the access road to Brabyns Brow Park (see plan below for extents of the works). This work will be carried out by our Alliance Partner Totally Local Company.

The work is scheduled to start week commencing Monday 24th February 2019 taking up to 5 days to complete, weather allowing, and will be carried out between the hours of 09:00 and 15:30.

Access will be maintained where possible but will be restricted for approximately 3 hours from 09:00 to Noon whilst the top surface is being laid to allow it time to set. This is estimated to be on the Thursday. While some disruption is inevitable, this will be kept to a minimum by our staff on site. I would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience that may be caused by this work.

As part of our commitment to improve services it would help us if you completed a short online questionnaire providing feedback on the work when it has been carried out. The survey is available online at http://www.stockport.gov.uk/hipfeedback and will only take a few minutes to complete.  To begin please quote the 6 digit reference number (191145). Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey.

Thanks for info certainly needs doing .
