Hi Jim, have spoken to my bathroom fitter, if you email me then I can pass on his number to you if you are interested.

We got our bathroom from Intoto in Stockport, they have a very good reputation, they did my parents bathroom, and because such a good job was done, we requested the same fitter.

Intoto are now stopping doing bathrooms and are now just doing kitchens, so the plumber is doing his own work for the first time in years!!

He is very good, and has also done other jobs for us, ie laying wooden floors and also fitted a new fireplace for me.

His costs are very reasonable, and you will be guaranteed a good job.

I have just had my bathroom completed, we went off reccomendation and we are delighted with the results.

We decided to go for quality of the fitting rather than the cost of the bathroom suite, an expensive bathroom suite will look awful if not fitted right!!  We have had fitted units, vanity unit etc and it really does look great.  We also needed quite a bit of electric work done, and can reccomend a good electrician, who has worked side by side with the plumber on many jobs as they sub contract to the same company I bought my bathroom suite from.

I'd suggest Norman Hayley on 0161 483 0656. He did an absolutely excellent job on our neighbour's bathroom. He also does the showrooms for one of the largest Bathroom & Plumbing places in Stockport.

Hi,

Does anyone know of any good bathroom fitters in marple.  Basically I have just bought a house in the area and am having quite a bit of work done on it.  

Not to sound fussy... ok I am.. but I’m after professional bathroom fitters preferably someone who specialises in it and who can do a very high quality job.

any suggestions from your own experiences.

p.s. great website, I love the old photos, especially of marple hall.  I used to go down there, behind where it used to be when I was a kid.  You could find all kinds of old stuff on the slope behind.
