I have sought further advice on this topic and it is now closed.

Anyone witnessing the culprit driving erratically, dangerously, or causing annoyance should report it to the police.

Use the non-emergency number 0161 872 5050

The police need to be advised of the details of the incident including date, time, registration number, location (road, direction of travel etc.)

If he has run over a dog and not reported it to the police himself, then he could be committing an offence. The owner of the dog should report the incident to the police within 24hrs if he/she has not already done so.

If the police receive enough complaints they will be forced to act, even if it is just to have a quiet word with the person.

I'm not sure this is the best place to vent your anger. Has this incident been reported to the police? That should be the priority. It should be reported by you as a witness and his neighbour who owned the dog.

I appreciate your comment that the person involved, his employment has no bearing on the way he drives BUT what about looking after the customers local and loyal to these small buisnesses that are being driven out by large supermarket chains, '<img'>?

If this person was employed by myself, I would have something to say to him!!

Im not an old fuddy duddy, Im relatively young, but I believe in care and consideration to others no matter what age a person is, and Im sorry, if this person behaved like this to my potential customers, they would be out the door!!(But would I be liable to a tribunal for unfair dismissal.......what is the world coming too???)

It is rather funny actually. Since Marpleian pointed out who the little rotter is I can confirm that he is correct in his identification. Secondly the vehicle that is parked behind the persons place of work is the correct vehicle.

The way this boy chooses to show off his man size is no bearing on his employment. Although continual lateness might be an issue if he loses his right to drive!

Liable I dont think so as I would stand up in any court and identify the individual and re confirm my report to the Police.

The truth is that the little guy may feel big and brave in his car now. But all it takes is one accident and it will shock him and upset Marple, this would include if the driver of the vehicle was the only person injured.

We all (including the fruity one) do not need that. I hope he calms down a bit, drives with due care and consideration and in a less reckless manner!!

I feel it's unfair to name a person on here, without any proof! I think this thread needs to be deleted.

I'm not a lawyer.. but is this thread verging on being libelous?

I think there should be more moderation here folks.

Report to the Police if you have witnessed any offence.

There is also CCTV at the end of Market Street I'm sure if enough reports go into the Police and a pattern is identified, the cameras could be trained to gather any evidence needed.

Not exactly "sitting on the fence" on this one are you! I agree with most of what you've said but please try to remain calm and refrain from ####ing. There really is no need for it as your views are easily supported by rational argument.

Susan, Old people are old, and sometimes they are dodery, and this includes they way that they drive.

How do you justify this blokes actions, he is a menace on the road, but his actions are purely intentional.

There is no way in a million years that if i was a shop keeper in Marple that I would employ a person like this knowingly, you may as well bite the hand that feeds you as far as customers are concerned, as I for one, will never enter ##### again, no way!! They have lost me as a customer, and one less customer is another businesses gain!!

surely him working where he does as no meaning on the way he drives.... or all the boy racers should be sacked from where they work,

Just because he drives like he does, doesnt mean that he is any more danger than old people that drive so slow that they hold up all the traffic then the cars behind them start beeping and overtaking, leading to road rage.

It was purple or dark blue with blacked out windows and yes he does drive like a complete idiot!!

Ive often seen his car parked behind where he works and I feel like letting his tyres down I really do!!

He needs to be sacked from his work place, as my feelings are that if he works localy, then he should have some sort of responsibility towards the people who shop in #######, instead of being hell bent on eventually running one of his customers down!!
