As expected with the football a very quiet quiz still, £39.50 is better than nowt for Age Concern making a total of £141.

Age concern are another £102.50 better off after this week's quiz. Don't know next week's cause but I'm sure it'll be a good one. Can it compete with the Champions League Final? A good place to get away from it if you want too!

Another decent turnout saw us raise a further £83.90 for Poynton Ladies. The next two weeks will be for Age Concern.

Back to busy again this week with 25 teams! As a result the Poynton Ladies Circle raised £113 for their nominated charity Francis House. H&L was nearly won again going to the last card.

On a quieter week, due to the football no doubt, we still raised another £81 for the Inner Wheel Christian Care and not as I reported last week Poynton Ladies Inner Wheel.
The confusion arrived because for the next two weeks its Poynton Ladies Circle

H&L wasn't won so still playing for £100 next week.

Poynton Ladies Inner Wheel are £94 better off this week and will be back for more next week. H&L was won Grrr!!

£83 was raised for Marple Cancer Charities on Wednesday. For the next two weeks it's the Inner Wheel to benefit from the money raised.

Last night's quiz raised £101.50 for Marple's Cancer Charities, same cause next week.

Another £74 was raised for the Donkey Sanctuary last Wednesday. The next two quizzes will be for Marple Cancer Charities.

I suspect next week will be quiet as well given that the England football match is being shown on free-to-air TV

This weeks quiz was in aid of the Donkey Sanctuary, a relatively quiet week still raised £69.50. Same cause next week.

A further £94.50 raised on the second week making a total of £185 for the Locks Society.

The Locks Heritage Society are £90.50 better off this morning after last night's quiz. Same cause next week.

This week's quiz raised £102 for the Sturge Weber Foundation, who have a charity event this weekend at the Sale Shark's Rugby Club, Edgely Park, Stockport.

This includes a hot buffet, auction, raffles and disco. Various items will be auctioned including signed sporting memorabilia, beauty gifts and wine.

The event is on Saturday 7th March from 8pm onwards with a late bar until 12.30am.

Tickest are £10 with free entry to win an MP3 player.

Next week's quiz night will be for Marple Locks Heritage Society.
