The Action Plan Tables

The tables linked below outline a list of specific measures, initiatives and projects 'categorised' under each of the objectives contained within the Strategy for District Centres.

Many of the measures are of a cross-cutting nature, often applying to more than one objective. Where this occurs they have been placed under the objective in which they have the predominant role.

KEY TO TABLES:

Description - the general term for the action.

Action - provides an outline of the action to be undertaken.

Responsibility - identifies the key stakeholders involved in the action. (See page 1 of the Action Plan for a key to the abbreviations used)

Time scale (T):

Short (S) Project to take up to 2 years.

Medium (M) Project to take between 2-5 years.

Long (L) Project to take more than 5 years.

Ongoing (O) Ongoing scheme.

This time frame is not 'fixed in stone' and will be subject to continual review and where appropriate changed to reflect circumstances. This could mean, for example, that some actions could be brought forward.

Performance indicators: These are the indicators that will be used to monitor the achievements.
